MAYOGU COMMUNITY PRINCIPLES & STANDARDS

(Applicable to registered users and individuals utilizing the MAYogu application)

MAYogu is a group-based platform where individuals participate in communities with shared interests to exchange content, experiences, and perspectives.

Content on MAYogu is visible exclusively to users who have actively joined a specific group. Each group functions as a shared communal space, which can be configured in either public or private mode. However, in all scenarios, users must join the group to view and interact with the content. This mechanism ensures that MAYogu remains a clearly contextualized, consensus-based environment, fostering a higher sense of safety compared to mass-distribution public platforms.

By joining a group on MAYogu, Users acknowledge that they are entering the shared space of a specific community, where everyone possesses the right to share and carries the concurrent responsibility to respect others and the group's specific context.

These Community Principles & Standards are established to:

  • Orient appropriate conduct within groups on MAYogu;
  • Foster a safe and positive community environment;
  • Support MAYogu in addressing arising situations consistently, based on specific contexts and the spirit of community.

The fact that a group is configured in private mode does not exempt its content from MAYogu’s fundamental safety standards. In any space, MAYogu consistently aims to protect individuals, mitigate harm, and maintain an environment of mutual respect.

COMMUNITY PRINCIPLES

These Community Principles serve as the foundational framework guiding how MAYogu develops its Community Standards and executes enforcement decisions across diverse scenarios. The Principles are designed to strike a balance between encouraging sharing within groups and the responsibility to safeguard the safety, respect, and trust of the community.

  1. Respect for Privacy: MAYogu believes that privacy is a prerequisite for Users to freely be themselves within the community. The platform is designed around controlled group spaces where Users actively choose the method and scope of their information sharing.
  2. Cultivating Authenticity: MAYogu targets communities built upon serious investment in content, intellect, and shared value systems. MAYogu encourages interactions arising from genuine interest rather than chasing superficial visibility or surface-level engagement.
  3. Preserving Community Culture: MAYogu respects the autonomy of individual communities in establishing rules, selecting members, and shaping a community culture appropriate to the group's objectives. Group owners hold the role of guiding and managing content generated within their group's scope, ensuring the shared space operates in alignment with the designated spirit and orientation before platform-level intervention is considered necessary.
  4. Preventing Harmful Behavior: MAYogu does not tolerate behaviors that cause harm to the physical, mental, emotional safety, or legal rights of others. MAYogu prioritizes the mitigation of severe risks, even if such behaviors occur within private groups or are invoked under the guise of "group culture."
  5. Consistent and Fair Application: Users bear sole responsibility for the legality and content they post on MAYogu. On this basis, MAYogu strives to apply the Community Principles & Standards consistently across the entire platform, encompassing both public and private groups. Content review and enforcement are executed through reporting mechanisms and appropriate supporting tools, conducted in a spirit of fairness and goodwill.

In exceptional circumstances, MAYogu will adjust the application of these standards to promptly protect the community and address newly emerging threats. All decisions shall be rendered based on these Community Principles.

COMMUNITY STANDARDS

The MAYogu Community Standards are established to operationalize the Community Principles, thereby defining how MAYogu evaluates and handles content and behaviors arising during user participation and interaction on the platform. These Standards serve as a practical reference framework, converting principles and orientations into enforceable regulations.

The Community Standards apply uniformly to all users and groups on MAYogu, including both public and private groups. The restriction of content visibility to a group's scope does not alter the general requirements regarding safety, respect, and community order established by MAYogu platform-wide.

The Community Standards categorize content and behaviors into specific groups, reflecting diverse types of risks and impacts on the community. Depending on the nature and severity of the impact, MAYogu will institute various enforcement actions, such as removing content, restricting visibility, or reviewing within the appropriate context.

The Community Standards form the basis for MAYogu to deploy and execute content moderation policies, combining manual review with automated support systems. Moderation decisions are made based on the Community Principles and Standards, alongside the specific context of each case, to ensure consistency and appropriateness. The enforcement of these standards is conducted in a spirit of goodwill, weighing the context and prioritizing a free, positive user experience, provided it causes no harm to the community.

1. SAFETY AND CIVILITY

This section governs behaviors with the potential to cause direct harm, or content and actions that generate an unsafe environment for individuals and the community.

1.1. Violent and Criminal Behavior

Violent or criminal acts inflict severe harm on the physical, mental, and emotional safety of individuals and the community, while disrupting the collective experience within groups. Consequently, MAYogu prohibits content or behaviors associated with violence and crime on the platform.

Content evaluation is performed based on context, the specificity of the act, the targeted entities, and potential inherent risks, rather than solely on the external presentation of the content.

MAYogu reserves the right, but assumes no obligation, in its sole and absolute discretion, to share user information with competent State authorities upon detecting acts that pose a direct threat to human life or physical integrity. This provision does not create any legal liability for MAYogu to monitor or report all cases, unless otherwise mandated by applicable law.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Threats of violence or incitement to harm individuals, animals, or property;
  • Advocating, praising, or normalizing violent, criminal, or dangerous acts;
  • Providing instructions, detailed descriptions, or encouragement to perform violent, illegal, or dangerous acts;
  • Content recording or depicting severe violence for the purpose of shocking, provoking, or entertaining;
  • Content supporting or justifying criminal acts that may cause harm to individuals or the community.

Contextual Exceptions

In specific instances, MAYogu may permit content related to violence or crime when such content does not intend to advocate or encourage harm, such as:

  • Informational, educational, or warning content regarding violent or criminal acts;
  • Content discussing, analyzing, or condemning violent acts within social, legal, or academic contexts;
  • Fictional, artistic, or storytelling content, provided it does not depict violence in a detailed, offensive, or provocative manner.

Such content will be evaluated for visibility restrictions or appropriate measures if determined to carry a risk of negative impact on viewers or incompatibility with the group community's context.

1.2. Hate Speech and Hostile Behavior

Hate speech and hostile behaviors dehumanize individuals, generating feelings of intimidation or isolation. Therefore, MAYogu prohibits content or behaviors that promote hatred, hostility, or discrimination on the platform.

Definition and Scope

Under these Community Standards, "hate speech and hostile behavior" is defined as content or actions that attack, demean, threaten, or promote hatred against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, health status, disability, or similar characteristics recognized by law and international human rights frameworks.

This scope encompasses both direct and indirect expressions, such as utilizing derogatory language, calling for exclusion, or justifying discrimination. Content evaluation relies not merely on isolated words but examines the overall context, intent, targeted audience, and the risk of harm to the community.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Utilizing hate speech, imagery, or symbols to demean or insult individuals or groups;
  • Inciting, promoting, or justifying hatred, discrimination, or exclusion against an individual or collective group;
  • Threatening, attacking, or targeting hostility at individuals or groups based on protected characteristics;
  • Content expressing or promoting hostile, exclusionary, or discriminatory ideologies;
  • Content denying, minimizing, or justifying severe violence or systemic oppression targeted at specific groups of people.

Contextual Exceptions

In certain circumstances, MAYogu may permit content involving hate speech or hostile behavior when the intent is not to promote hatred, such as:

  • Informational, educational, or analytical content aiming to reflect, critique, or condemn hateful and discriminatory behaviors;
  • Discussions on social, legal, or public policy issues relevant to specific groups of people, provided the content is presented in a respectful manner;
  • Fictional, artistic, or satirical content, provided it does not encourage or normalize hatred.

Such content will be evaluated for visibility restrictions or appropriate measures if determined to pose a risk of negative impact, misunderstanding, or incompatibility with the group community's context.

1.3. Violent and Hostile Organizations and Individuals

Advocating, supporting, or promoting violent and hostile organizations or individuals can escalate the risk of severe real-world harm, disrupt public order, and diminish users' sense of safety. Therefore, MAYogu prohibits content or behaviors related to glorifying, assisting, or facilitating violent and hostile organizations and individuals on the platform.

Definition and Scope

Under these Community Standards, "violent and hostile organizations and individuals" are defined as entities, factions, or persons that advocate, promote, or engage in acts of violence, terrorism, extremism, or activities aimed at causing severe harm to humans, communities, or social order. This scope includes widely recognized real-world entities, as well as indirect expressions aiming to glorify, normalize, or legitimize their actions.

Content evaluation is based not only on referenced names or symbols but also weighs the intent, context of use, level of advocacy, and risk of negative influence on the community.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Advocating, glorifying, or supporting violent or hostile organizations or individuals;
  • Promoting ideologies, symbols, slogans, or messages associated with violent or hostile organizations or individuals;
  • Calling for, recruiting, or encouraging others to participate in, support, or finance violent or hostile organizations or individuals;
  • Justifying, legitimizing, or normalizing severe acts of violence committed by these organizations or individuals.

Contextual Exceptions

In specific instances, MAYogu may permit content referencing violent or hostile organizations or individuals without the intent of advocacy, such as:

  • Informational, educational, journalistic, or research content reflecting or analyzing violent, hostile organizations or individuals;
  • Discussions regarding historical, social, or legal events of relevance, provided the presentation is neutral, objective, and devoid of glorification;
  • Fictional or artistic content, provided it does not encourage or normalize violence.

Such content will be evaluated for visibility restrictions or appropriate measures if determined to be incompatible with the group community's context or carrying a risk of negative influence.

1.4. Harassment and Bullying

MAYogu aims to foster environments where individuals can interact and share without facing attacks, humiliation, or coercion from others. Consequently, MAYogu prohibits any form of harassment or bullying under any circumstance.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Attacking, insulting, or humiliating individuals via words, imagery, or behavior;
  • Prolonged or coordinated harassment, including repeatedly targeting a single individual;
  • Mass bullying, mobilizing, or inciting multiple individuals to collectively attack an individual;
  • Threatening, coercing, or utilizing fear to control or harm others;
  • Sharing or exploiting personal data for the purpose of harassment or humiliation.

Contextual Exceptions

In certain circumstances, MAYogu may permit content containing elements of criticism or debate when such content does not intend to harass or bully, such as:

  • Discussing or debating perspectives, behaviors, or publicly shared content of public figures, provided it does not target individual human dignity;
  • Content of a satirical, humorous, or socially critical nature, when not intended to humiliate or harm a specific individual;
  • Content reflecting, condemning, or documenting harassment behaviors within informational, educational, or awareness-raising contexts.

Such content will be evaluated for visibility restrictions or appropriate measures if determined to carry a risk of negative impact, misunderstanding, or incompatibility with the group community's context.

1.5. Sexual and Physical Abuse

MAYogu strictly prohibits all forms of sexual or physical abuse, including advocating, justifying, or normalizing acts that violate physical integrity and human safety.

Definition and Scope

Under these Community Standards, "sexual and physical abuse" refers to behaviors or content involving the use of violence, coercion, threats, or exploitation of power differentials to violate the bodily autonomy, safety, or self-determination of others, regardless of whether the act occurs in reality or is described, advocated, or recreated through content.

The scope of application encompasses acts targeting both adults and children. Content involving children is subject to rigorous protection standards enforced under specific clauses in the Child Protection section of these Standards.

Content evaluation hinges on the core nature of the described behavior, the degree of coercion or violence, the impacted victims, and the inherent risk of harm, independent of presentation styles or cited motives.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Depicting, advocating, or justifying sexual or physical abuse;
  • Content exhibiting, recreating, or recording acts of sexual coercion, sexual violence, or physical assault;
  • Content normalizing, joking about, or minimizing the severity of abuse behaviors;
  • Content threatening, forcing, or exploiting the fear, dependency, or defenselessness of another person;
  • Any content aiming to exploit, stimulate, or entertain based on physical or sexual abuse.

Contextual Exceptions

In limited instances, MAYogu may permit content related to sexual or physical abuse when it does not intend to advocate or normalize the behavior, such as:

  • Informational, educational, or awareness-raising content regarding abuse prevention;
  • Content reflecting, condemning, or analyzing abuse behaviors within legal, social, or academic contexts;
  • Supportive content sharing personal experiences for the purpose of seeking assistance or raising awareness, provided it excludes graphically offensive details.

Such content will be evaluated for visibility restrictions or appropriate measures if determined to be incompatible with the group community's context or carrying a risk of negative impact on viewers.

2. MENTAL HEALTH AND DANGEROUS BEHAVIOR

This section regulates content, themes, and behaviors capable of impacting mental health or personal and collective safety, ensuring that sharing spaces on MAYogu do not become vectors for spreading or normalizing high-risk actions. MAYogu acknowledges that users may share diverse experiences, emotions, or perspectives, including content related to psychological difficulties or life challenges. However, behaviors or content carrying risks of severe harm, generating contagion effects, or escalating real-world risks will be subject to necessary standards and limitations.

2.1. Suicide and Self-Harm

MAYogu focuses on building communities where people can share and connect without being exposed to content that threatens mental health or human life, and without serving as an environment that propagates or normalizes self-harming behaviors.

Definition and Scope

Under these Community Standards, "suicide and self-harm" content refers to text, imagery, or behaviors involving intentional self-inflicted harm, including but not limited to calling for, encouraging, instructing, describing, or normalizing suicide, self-inflicted pain, or analogous actions.

The scope encompasses both direct and indirect expressions, as well as content capable of inducing contagion or copycat effects, particularly within a group community where personal experiences exercise a powerful psychological influence on peers.

Content evaluation is driven by the specificity, intent, affected audience, and potential underlying risks, rather than merely superficial presentation.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Calling for, encouraging, or advocating suicide or self-harm acts;
  • Providing instructions, detailed descriptions, or sharing methods for self-harm;
  • Content normalizing, romanticizing, or minimizing the severity of self-harm behaviors;
  • Content expressing suicidal ideation or self-harm desires in a manner that negatively impacts others;
  • Exploiting self-harm behaviors for shock value, clickbait, or entertainment.

Contextual Exceptions

In specific scenarios, MAYogu may permit content involving suicide or self-harm when it does not intend to advocate or normalize, such as:

  • Informational, educational, or awareness-raising content on suicide and self-harm prevention;
  • Content sharing personal experiences for recovery purposes, seeking support, or raising awareness, provided it omits graphic descriptions or behavioral instructions;
  • Discussions and analyses within medical, psychological, or academic contexts.

Such content will be evaluated for visibility restrictions or appropriate measures if determined to be incompatible with the group community's context or carrying a risk of negative impact on viewers.

2.2. Eating Disorders and Body Image

MAYogu aims to build communities where individuals can connect without being subjected to harmful body standards or eating behaviors, ensuring the platform does not advocate tendencies that undermine physical and psychological health.

Definition and Scope

Under these Community Standards, behaviors and content causing "eating disorders and negative body image" refer to content or actions that advocate, encourage, or normalize dangerous eating habits, alongside content promoting negative, obsessive, or unhealthy body perceptions.

This scope includes direct and indirect content capable of generating psychological pressure, particularly on vulnerable demographics.

Content evaluation relies on the degree of advocating harmful behavior, the mode of body image presentation, the sharing context, and the risk of contagion within the community, irrespective of cited subjective intentions.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Advocating, encouraging, or instructing dangerous, extreme eating behaviors with the potential to harm health;
  • Content normalizing, glorifying, or promoting unhealthy dietary trends;
  • Content generating negative body comparison or pressure aimed at demeaning others, oneself, or promoting unhealthy standards;
  • Content detailing dangerous eating behaviors in a manner that invites imitation or causes negative impacts.

Contextual Exceptions

In certain circumstances, MAYogu may permit content related to eating disorders or body image without the intent of promoting harm, such as:

  • Informational, educational, or awareness-raising content on physical and mental health;
  • Content sharing personal experiences aimed at recovery, seeking assistance, or encouraging a healthy lifestyle, provided it excludes detailed descriptions of harmful behaviors;
  • Discussions and analyses within medical, psychological, or academic contexts.

Such content will be evaluated for visibility restrictions or appropriate measures if determined to be incompatible with the group community's context or carrying a risk of negative impact on others.

2.3. Dangerous Challenges and High-Risk Behavior

MAYogu prohibits high-risk behaviors that could result in real-world injuries or severe consequences, particularly when such acts are propagated under the guise of challenges, viral trends, or entertainment.

Definition and Scope

Under these Community Standards, "dangerous challenges and high-risk behavior" refer to content or actions performed by non-professionals that present clear risks to the physical safety of others.

Prohibited acts are not restricted to explicitly named challenges but encompass trends, movements, or behaviors presented in a manner that falsely implies they are safe or worth attempting.

Content evaluation is executed based on the inherent risk level of the act, the likelihood of imitation, the sharing context, and the scope of community impact, independent of cited entertainment or fictional intents.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Encouraging, calling for, or advocating challenges, viral trends, or behaviors carrying risks of injury or severe consequences;
  • Depicting or recording high-risk acts in a manner that frames them as safe or worthy of imitation;
  • Content normalizing or downplaying the danger level of high-risk actions;
  • Providing instructions, detailed descriptions, or tips to execute dangerous maneuvers;
  • Exploiting risky actions for shock value, attention-grabbing, or entertainment.

Contextual Exceptions

In specific instances, MAYogu may permit content involving high-risk actions when not intending to encourage or normalize, such as:

  • Warning, educational, or awareness-raising content regarding potential risks and consequences;
  • Content reflecting, analyzing, or critiquing dangerous trends and challenges within social or media contexts;
  • Professional sporting events or high-risk acts performed by certified professionals.

Such content will be evaluated for visibility restrictions or appropriate measures if determined to be incompatible with the group community's context or carrying a risk of negative impact on others.

2.4. Content Impacting Collective Community Mental Health

MAYogu prohibits content acting as a vector for extreme negative emotions or generating psychological pressure that degrades the mental well-being and general quality of shared life within group communities.

Definition and Scope

Under these Community Standards, "content degrading community mental health" refers to content or behaviors that propagate extreme negative emotions, capable of adversely affecting the psychological state of other group members. This scope encompasses indirect content that fosters feelings of despair, self-doubt, anxiety, or loss of motivation when repeatedly amplified within closed group spaces.

Content evaluation centers on the repetitive nature, the degree of dominance over the group space, the sharing context, and the cumulative impact on the community, rather than examining isolated pieces of content in a vacuum.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Continuously propagating feelings of despair, pessimism, or negativity in a manner that degrades collective community mental health;
  • Content incited to provoke hopelessness or low self-esteem in others;
  • Exploiting negative emotions to exert pressure, manipulate, or extract attention within a group community.

Contextual Exceptions

In certain circumstances, MAYogu may permit content sharing negative emotions without intending to spread or amplify harmful impacts, such as:

  • Content sharing personal struggles for the purpose of seeking empathy, support, or connection;
  • Content reflecting psychological states within informational, educational, or mental health awareness contexts;
  • Constructive discussions regarding coping strategies, recovery, or mutual assistance during psychological hardships.

Such content will be evaluated for visibility restrictions or appropriate measures if determined to be incompatible with the group community's context or risking widespread negative impacts.

2.5. Help-Seeking and Psychological Support Content

MAYogu aims to create communities where users can share psychological difficulties and seek support in good faith, rather than treating these personal experiences as behaviors to be suppressed or excluded.

Definition and Scope

Under these Community Standards, content sharing psychological difficulties refers to expressions of emotional states, mental pressure, or personal experiences intended for connection, listening, or seeking community support. These contents are fundamentally non-harmful but can generate varying impacts based on execution style and group context.

Content evaluation focuses on the sharing purpose and community impact, rather than merely flag-marking the mention of negative emotions.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Advocating, normalizing, or indirectly encouraging self-harm behaviors;
  • Detailing harmful states or actions in a manner that causes negative psychological impacts on others;
  • Exploiting emotional sharing to exert guilt or pressure on other users.

Contextual Exceptions

MAYogu encourages and permits content sharing psychological difficulties when the content:

  • Aims to seek empathy, support, and connection;
  • Shares journeys of overcoming adversity or recovery;
  • Encourages seeking appropriate assistance, including professional clinical support.

Such content will be evaluated for visibility restrictions or appropriate measures if determined to be incompatible with the group community's context or carrying a risk of negative impact on others.

3. SENSITIVE CONTENT AND BEHAVIOR

This section regulates content and themes with sensitive visual or linguistic attributes to ensure shared content on MAYogu aligns with the platform's baseline audience access parameters. MAYogu encourages free sharing across diverse content profiles, spanning all-age friendly spaces to mature themes. However, behaviors causing discomfort, offense, or degrading the general user experience will be subject to necessary standards.

3.1. Sexual and Suggestive Content

MAYogu prohibits behaviors and content of a sexual or suggestive nature displayed publicly, offensively, or exceeding an appropriate context, particularly within environments housing diverse groups and demographics.

Definition and Scope

Under these Community Standards, "sexual and suggestive content" refers to content depicting, implying, or evoking sexual acts, including suggestive language, imagery, or presentation formats.

The scope focuses on presentation style, contextual elements (biography, hashtags, captions, and audio), and the capability to impact the general experience, rather than banning the core educational topic itself.

Content evaluation considers the public nature, presentation style, and degree of sexual suggestion, regardless of whether the content is uploaded to a public or private group.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Publicly displayed, offensive, or explicitly pornographic content across any format (images, words, videos, drawings, etc.);
  • Detailed descriptions of sexual acts intended for stimulation or entertainment;
  • Facilitating access to commercial sexual services, such as offering or soliciting sexual acts, sexual imagery, or pornography.

Contextual Exceptions

In specific scenarios, MAYogu may permit content within:

  • Informational, educational, artistic, or serious academic discussion contexts;
  • Displays of intimacy or affection devoid of pornographic intent;
  • Fashion, beauty, or athletic content showcasing reasonable bodily exposure.

Such content will be evaluated for visibility restrictions or appropriate measures if determined to be incompatible with the group community's context or carrying a risk of negative impact on others.

3.2. Solicitation and Unwanted Sexual Interaction

MAYogu is dedicated to maintaining an environment where users can interact without being subjected to unwanted sexual solicitation, provocation, or pressure. Such interactions, even if not explicitly public or violent, cause discomfort, undermine safety, and degrade the user experience.

Definition and Scope

Under these Community Standards, "solicitation and unwanted sexual interaction" are defined as behaviors or content involving sexual invitations, flirtation, or innuendos directed at another individual without prior explicit consent or against the recipient's wishes.

The scope extends beyond public acts to encompass one-on-one group interactions when the content causes discomfort, annoyance, or diminishes the recipient's sense of safety.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Sending or posting unwanted sexual invitations, flirtations, or innuendos;
  • Persisting with sexually charged interactions after the recipient has expressed non-consent or non-responsiveness;
  • Commenting on physical attributes or anatomy in a sexualized manner that induces discomfort;
  • Exploiting the community environment to execute inappropriate sexual approaches or solicitations.

3.3. Nudity and Body Exposure

MAYogu values user self-expression; however, such content must not exceed boundaries appropriate for the general platform access context. Nudity or body exposure displayed in an exhibitionist or sexually provocative manner causes discomfort or offense, affecting the shared collective experience.

Definition and Scope

Under these Community Standards, "nudity and body exposure" refer to displaying all or partial body elements typically concealed under prevailing cultural norms, spanning images, videos, illustrations, or presentations designed to extract attention.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Nudity involving adults or children;
  • Semi-nudity staged with poses, camera angles, or expressions intended for sexual arousal;
  • Pornographic language, including obscenities targeted at oneself or others;
  • Utilizing nudity or body exposure as a shock factor or clickbait tactic to drive engagement.

Contextual Exceptions

In certain circumstances, MAYogu may permit:

  • Images depicting natural infant nudity at birth;
  • Artistic, photographic, or fashion content showcasing human form elements;
  • Content related to sports, healthcare, beauty, or ordinary daily life;
  • Informational content, sex/reproductive education, or scientific anatomical data regarding the human body.

Such content will be evaluated for visibility restrictions or appropriate measures if determined to be incompatible with the group community's context or carrying a risk of negative impact on others.

3.4. Shocking, Graphic, or Offensive Content

MAYogu aims to maintain an environment where users can access content without being unnecessarily subjected to shocking, graphic, or offensive material. Such content, even if devoid of structural violence or abuse, can negatively affect the collective experience if presented out of context.

Definition and Scope

Under these Community Standards, "shocking, graphic, or offensive content" refers to material capable of inducing psychological distress, horror, or severe discomfort due to its visual presentation, descriptions, or staging. Evaluation centers on impact severity, presentation style, and display context, rather than the abstract topic.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Real or fictional imagery depicting gruesome, offensive, or deeply disturbing elements (corpses, torture, severely mutilated anatomy...);
  • Content detailing gruesome occurrences, such as dismembered or immolated bodies;
  • Active bleeding showcased as the primary focus of a post;
  • Content prominently featuring weapons or sharp objects in a menacing manner;
  • Comments advocating violence or cruelty regarding permitted graphic content within this category.

Contextual Exceptions

In limited instances, MAYogu permits:

  • Informational, educational, or newsworthy content presented strictly within necessary limits;
  • Fictional or creative narratives;
  • Culinary presentations made from animal blood (e.g., traditional blood sausage/dồi tiết).

Such content will be evaluated for visibility restrictions or appropriate measures if determined to be incompatible with the group community's context or carrying a risk of negative impact on others.

3.5. Cruelty and Harm to Animals

MAYogu prohibits content or behaviors that advocate, depict, or normalize cruelty, infliction of pain, or unnecessary harm toward animals. Such content causes public offense, incites negative behavior, and compromises community standards.

Scope of Application

Evaluation focuses on harm severity, intent of presentation, and potential to incite negative real-world actions, applied uniformly regardless of whether the animal is a domestic pet or wildlife.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Content depicting wildlife hunting lacking explicit, verified lawful authorization;
  • Behaviors promoting animal abuse, neglect, or abandonment;
  • Bestiality or sexual content involving animals;
  • Images depicting animals, living or deceased, prominently displaying active blood or torture.

Contextual Exceptions

In specific scenarios, MAYogu permits:

  • Animal body parts displayed in food contexts, including items standard to grocery/culinary settings;
  • Documentary or educational content reporting on or condemning animal abuse, provided it excludes overly gruesome depictions of the act itself;
  • Content related to animal husbandry, veterinary sciences, or wildlife conservation within legal parameters;
  • Content capturing natural animal life dynamics devoid of shock value intents.

Such content will be evaluated for visibility restrictions or appropriate measures if determined to be incompatible with the group community's context or carrying a risk of negative impact on others.

4. CHILD PROTECTION

MAYogu is configured strictly for users aged 16 and older. This section establishes parameters ensuring the platform operates within its designated target audience and does not host content harmful to children.

4.1. Eligible User Base

MAYogu is exclusively for users aged 13 or older (or 16 and above depending on specific domestic digital service age bars—tailored per MAYogu's target design specification). MAYogu is not engineered for children and lacks features or protection mechanisms designed for users under 16.

Users under 16 are prohibited from creating or operating accounts on MAYogu, including accounts managed through proxies, shared accounts, or falsifying age details to bypass platform restrictions.

During operations, MAYogu may deploy necessary verification mechanisms to identify and resolve underage accounts. Upon detecting violations, MAYogu may institute one or more of the following measures:

  • Restricting or temporarily suspending platform access;
  • Deleting or terminating the account;
  • Demanding additional user documentation for age verification.

MAYogu permits users to report suspected underage accounts. Reports are evaluated based on available data and context to ensure platform compliance. These enforcement actions preserve MAYogu within its designed scope.

4.2. Child Abuse and Sexualization of Children

MAYogu prohibits any content related to the abuse, exploitation, or sexualization of children on the platform. This content profile is subject to an absolute ban, regardless of intent, formatting, or context.

Scope of Application

This scope governs all formats on MAYogu, including fictional creations, illustrations, AI-generated content, or edited/composite works derived from other sources.

Evaluation operates independent of direct real-world impact, focusing on content nature and inherent risk. Violations trigger immediate content removal, account termination, and reporting to competent law enforcement authorities as mandated by law.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Images, videos, or text depicting children engaging in sexually explicit conduct;
  • Content focusing on children's anatomy or intimate areas in a suggestive manner;
  • Drawings, fictional text, or AI content showcasing children in sexualized contexts;
  • Content justifying, advocating, or normalizing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploitation;
  • Sharing, hyperlinks, or reposting child abuse materials sourced externally.

5. PRIVACY, IDENTITY, AND SECURITY

5.1. Personal Data Security

To prevent fraud, theft, identity misappropriation, and exploitation, MAYogu prohibits users from uploading or sharing content containing high-risk personally identifiable information (PII) (e.g., home addresses, national identification numbers, sensitive financial/payment details).

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Sharing high-risk PII;
  • Publishing or disseminating content containing the personal information of any individual without explicit consent;
  • Scraping, extracting, or distributing personal data sourced from within groups;
  • Utilizing personal data to execute impersonation, unauthorized access, or inappropriate purposes;
  • Sharing identity documents, credentials, or authentication metadata.

The fact that personal information has previously appeared publicly elsewhere does not waive its restricted status on MAYogu.

5.2. Impersonation and Identity Deception

To preclude fraudulent acts and identity confusion, MAYogu prohibits masking, swapping, or exploiting another entity's identity to forge false trust, manipulate engagement, or deceive the community.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Creating or operating accounts impersonating any individual, organization, or brand;
  • Utilizing names, avatars, profile descriptions, or content that misleads others regarding the account owner's true identity.

5.3. Account Integrity

MAYogu prohibits hacking, misappropriating, or interfering with another user's account, alongside exploiting authorized access to execute harmful acts.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Sharing, selling, or transferring account ownership/credentials;
  • Accessing, misappropriating, or utilizing another user's account;
  • Exploiting another individual's account to publish content, manipulate interactions, or harvest data.

6. INAUTHENTIC INFORMATION AND INTERACTION

MAYogu fosters a sharing space where users converse and connect based on good faith and authentic information. This section prevents deliberate disinformation or simulated engagement designed to mislead, manipulate perception, or distort collective experiences.

6.1. Deliberate Disinformation

MAYogu encourages diverse perspectives; however, false information spread with the intent to mislead, manipulate, or harm others is strictly prohibited.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Asserting unverified or fabricated claims as validated fact;
  • Propagating rumors or fabrications to incite panic, hostility, or extract engagement;
  • Utilizing disinformation to direct behavior or financially exploit other users;
  • Medical disinformation capable of causing significant health harms or spreading epidemic falsehoods;
  • Disinformation targeting the structural reputation of state organs, enterprises, or organizations.

Contextual Exceptions

In specific scenarios, MAYogu permits:

  • Sharing unconfirmed information, provided the poster explicitly denotes its unverified nature;
  • Sharing personal medical anecdotes, provided they do not promote medical misinformation or discourage professional clinical care;
  • Discussing, debating, or questioning unresolved matters.

Such content will be evaluated for visibility restrictions or appropriate measures if determined to be incompatible with the group community's context or carrying a risk of negative impact on others.

6.2. Non-Original Content and Source Deception

MAYogu accepts sharing content from external sources. However, MAYogu prohibits presenting non-original materials in a manner that misleads regarding author identity, origin, or ownership rights, thereby distorting creative credit.

Definition and Scope

Under these Community Standards, "non-original content and source deception" refer to content copied, excerpted, repurposed, or modified from external sources but staged to imply the poster directly created or holds exclusive rights over it.

This clause does not replace statutory Intellectual Property (IP) laws. Legal IP infringements follow distinct platform copyright enforcement policies. This section targets the authenticity of presentation on MAYogu.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Copying articles, images, or videos created by others and publishing them as one's own creation;
  • Removing watermarks, digital signatures, or author credits to obscure content origin.

Contextual Exceptions

In certain circumstances, MAYogu permits:

  • Excerpting, aggregating, or critiquing external content for discussion, analysis, or news reporting;
  • Content shared with clear author authorization and attribution;
  • Aggregating multi-source information while explicitly outlining the compilation methodology.

Such content will be evaluated for visibility restrictions or appropriate measures if determined to be incompatible with the group community's context or carrying a risk of negative impact on others.

7. CONTROLLED GOODS, SERVICES, AND ACTIVITIES

This section establishes parameters preventing the exploitation of MAYogu to promote, broker, or coordinate activities tied to prohibited, controlled, or high-risk commodities under applicable law and community safety frameworks.

These standards apply to all content formats, including posts, comments, direct messages, external hyperlinks, or calls to action.

7.1. Absolutely Prohibited Goods, Services, and Activities

MAYogu prohibits utilizing the platform to access, trade, promote, or coordinate activities involving highly dangerous commodities banned by law or contrary to public safety. This category admits no exceptions under any context.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Trading, promoting, brokering, or facilitating access to illegal goods, services, or illicit activities;
  • Publishing manuals/instructions to manufacture, deploy, or access dangerous items or criminal techniques;
  • Promoting counterfeit currencies, forged identification, or pirated goods;
  • Trading or advertising protected wildlife, endangered species, or derivatives thereof;
  • Trading, exchanging, or providing manuals for weapons, ammunition, explosives, or fireworks;
  • Deploying hyperlinks, contact nodes, or financial transaction routing connected to banned materials;
  • Exhibiting or advocating child participation in gambling, alcohol/tobacco use, pyrotechnics, or weapon possession;
  • Exhibiting or promoting recreational use of narcotics or controlled illicit substances.

7.2. Controlled or Restricted Goods, Services, and Activities

MAYogu permits users to discuss and share data regarding specific goods or activities that, while not absolutely banned, present inherent health, financial, or safety risks. This clause regulates delivery style and intent to mitigate risk exposure while preserving academic/informational discussion.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Promoting high-risk unregulated financial investments, speculative schemes, or illicit gambling;
  • Promoting or trading legally controlled products (prescription drugs, medical devices, alcohol, dietary supplements...) outside authorized regulatory frameworks;
  • Leveraging personal review narratives to covertly channel users into acquiring controlled products/services.

Such content will be evaluated for visibility restrictions or appropriate measures if determined to be incompatible with the group community's context or carrying a risk of negative impact on others.

7.3. Suspicious Financial Activities and Transactions

MAYogu permits authorized paid content functions and revenue-sharing mechanisms for eligible users. However, these features must not be exploited to execute fraud, manipulate capital flows, or conceal illicit operations. Platform transactions must comply with prevailing financial laws and MAYogu’s operational guidelines.

Definition and Scope

Under these Community Standards, "financial activities and platform transactions" refer to payment mechanisms executed via In-App Purchases (IAP), internal currency conversions (e.g., Xu, Gỗ), revenue accumulation, and payouts handled through partner payment processors.

This scope covers direct and indirect behaviors designed to distort payment mechanisms, posing fraud or compliance risks. Evaluation tracks transaction anomalies, account behavior models, and structural exploitation profiles.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Exploiting payment systems, internal tokens, or withdrawal mechanisms to execute fraud, arbitrary values, or illicit transfers;
  • Creating or operating multiple shell accounts to accumulate or withdraw funds opaquely;
  • Utilizing the platform for unauthorized capital raising, money laundering, or transactions displaying illegal patterns;
  • Arranging off-platform payment settlements to circumvent MAYogu's structural controls;
  • Any act exploiting the transactional architecture to profit maliciously or jeopardize platform security.

8. SPAM AND PLATFORM INTEGRITY

MAYogu is built for genuine interactions within group communities. This section sets standards to prevent platform exploitation for distributing unwanted materials, manipulating metrics, or disrupting system operations, thereby preserving backend infrastructure safety.

These rules target behavioral execution styles, frequencies, and intents, rather than judging content quality from an ideological standpoint.

8.1. Spam

MAYogu focuses on sustaining interactions reflecting organic user interest. The platform prohibits actions designed to simulate artificial engagement, visibility, or traffic routing to dilute valid discussions.

Spam degrades user experience and threatens platform processing capacities.

Definition and Scope

Under these Community Standards, "spam" refers to repetitive, mass-distributed, or coerced interactions executed outside normal engagement patterns to inflate views, replies, or redirect users to unintended destinations.

This clause covers posts, comments, direct messages, hyperlinks, or multi-account coordination aimed at identical targets.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Uploading, sharing, or interacting with content manually or automatically at abnormally high frequencies;
  • Deploying multi-account clusters to post, comment, or fake active crowd dynamics;
  • Sharing deceptive links, scripts, or interface overlays designed to trick users into unintended clicks/access;
  • Buying, selling, or brokering services designed to inflate engagement metrics or visibility.

Contextual Exceptions

In specific scenarios, MAYogu permits:

  • Calls for valid discussion or input, provided they are decoupled from reciprocal benefits or forced loops;
  • Sharing links or introductory pitches at reasonable intervals conforming to group themes;
  • Transparent cross-promotions that do not interrupt the core community experience.

8.2. Platform Security

MAYogu operates on specialized technical infrastructure ensuring stability and access security. MAYogu prohibits any attempt to breach, interfere with, harvest from, or disrupt system modules, regardless of whether immediate damage occurs.

Security breaches threaten system infrastructure and compromise user data safety.

Definition and Scope

Under these Community Standards, "breaching platform security and integrity" refers to unauthorized access, technical interference, or exploiting system bugs to harvest user records, alter operational code, bypass safety scripts, or cause service degradation.

This applies to all technical endpoints, spanning applications, web domains, APIs, automated scrapers, third-party plug-ins, or engineering overrides.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Executing unauthorized access or attempting to bypass platform security barriers;
  • Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, decrypt, or map the source code and structural mechanics of MAYogu lacking explicit authorization;
  • Deploying software scripts or external bots to interfere with live operations;
  • Disseminating malware, trojans, or malicious scripts capable of undermining system or end-user terminal safety;
  • Obstructing or overloading system arrays, including Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) operations.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

MAYogu respects and protects the legal intellectual property (IP) rights of creators and organizations, encouraging lawful content production. Users retain sole legal liability ensuring their uploads do not violate third-party IP rights.

Prohibited

The following behaviors and content are unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Content violating copyrights, trademarks, or registered intellectual property assets;
  • Deploying creative text, imagery, video, audio, or brand identifiers lacking lawful licensing or explicit authorization;
  • Advertising or routing traffic to counterfeit goods;
  • Forging unauthorized institutional affiliations or endorsement links;
  • Assisting or facilitating third-party IP rights violations.

Upon receiving valid takedown notifications from rights holders or authorized legal representatives, MAYogu will remove or restrict access to the infringing material in compliance with applicable statutory digital service provider laws.

Permitted

MAYogu permits content that is:

  • Explicitly licensed or authorized by the legitimate rights holder;
  • Shared for critique, review, citation, or educational analysis within fair use/fair dealing thresholds, provided it does not forge ownership origins.

10. ENFORCEMENT AND APPEALS

MAYogu enforces these Community Standards utilizing multi-layered moderation frameworks combining automated screening filters, user reports, and expert human moderation to secure community safety.

In exceptional circumstances, MAYogu may preserve technical policy violations if the content serves distinct public interests, such as educational enrichment, journalistic record-keeping, medical documentation, academic critique, or satire. This public interest exception never applies to high-harm profiles, including child exploitation materials, severe graphic violence, or structural human abuse.

Enforcement remedies span content removal, visibility throttling, feature restrictions, or permanent account banishment based on severity metrics. Processing workflows follow guidelines detailed in the MAYogu Content Moderation Policy.

Users may submit formal appeals regarding specific enforcement actions under mechanisms provided in the Content Moderation Policy. Appeals are processed within reasonable periods; however, filing an appeal does not guarantee reversal. Final administrative discretion rests exclusively with MAYogu.

MAYogu reserves the right to update or modify these Community Standards periodically to address system scaling and newly emerging digital threats. Ongoing updates will consistently align with the core Community Principles published herein.
